Exclusive Dog Training

When we got our pandemic puppy, Max, in January I was very overwhelmed. I did a lot of learning on my own but we had a few lingering behavior issues that I just couldn't figure out, at six months of puppyhood, how to solve. We called many dog trainers and immediately knew Carlos was the one. It was a difficult situation because we have 2 dogs that are polar opposites with different goals. His knowledge in dog trainer is so advanced. One of my dogs is a 4 year old 11 pound Shih Tzu who’s dog aggressive. We were told it’s in his genetics (which is true) but since his age, it’s impossible to change that. Carlos was able to correct it using positive enforcement and only doing what we were comfortable with. The other one is a 12 year old, calm, 80 pound pit bull that he helped with a temperament test so he could become a service dog! (He passed). Right when he walked in our front door, he was able to tell the temperament of both dogs and was able to successfully train them even with different genetics and goals.

As a first time dog owner, I was not prepared for the kind of temperament my Husky Malamute puppy had. Although cute, she was an aggressive biter, would jump to demand play, food, affection and start snapping viciously if she didn't get it. I was scared that she would be dangerous as an adult dog. Then I decided to take a chance with training her. Carlos has been an integral part of her training since then. He is very knowledgeable in his field and his techniques have been working like a charm since day one. We got rid of her biting in a matter of days and potty trained her in a month! He prioritizes positive reinforcement and I know my puppy is in good hands. His knowledge on dog behavior is spot on and he trains not just the dog but also me in my interaction with my puppy.   He addresses all concerns and the results I am seeing are real.
