Adam, We care a tremendous amount about making every client happy and try to go above and beyond when there is an issue. We believe that we have given you that same level of service and respect. As I explained in a previous email to you, you were kicked out of the group class because, despite signing a waiver and agreeing that there is no refund for noncompliance, you refused to follow COVID protocol. To be clear, we can not fill that group class spot once the session has started so, because you were in a package, the business ate that money during a time when we were only allowed to be operating at 50% capacity. Then on top of that we gave you an additional lesson in your package because we wanted to make sure that you were happy and well taken care of. As far as scheduling is concerned, Christine always quickly emailed, texted, and called you back with times for private lessons. You wouldn't respond for days and she would have to give those spots away to other clients. You also rescheduled once because your 11 year old son could not be there. We are always happy to accommodate those situations but we are not willing to leave times open for you in hopes that you respond last minute. That's just not fair to our trainers. To address the email that made you uncomfortable, you had come to our group class (when you refused to follow the COVID protocol) with your out of control doberman in a service dog vest. My trainer explained to you how that was against CT state law and that you needed to remove the vest and talk to me if you wanted to pursue service dog training. When I spoke to you on the phone you told me that you would look into service dog training in a few years but you weren't ready to do that at this time. We then scheduled the private lesson with you and you showed up with the service dog vest on your dog again. My trainer asked if you were training it as a service dog and you said no and removed the service dog patch. You then proceeded to tell her that you take the dog everywhere. As an advocate for the disabled and specifically service dog teams, I then wrote you an email explaining the law and how to lawfully raise a service dog. Fake service dogs are a huge risk to real service dog teams and you did not like hearing that. Even after that email, you scheduled another lesson and emailed saying that you were very happy with the trainer, you were just unhappy with my email. To be clear, two other trainers told you to stop using the vest before I sent my email. As far as your refund is concerned, and despite the fact that we have a no refund policy, we quickly refunded your remaining balance when you asked. I've already broken down the cost of each service that you used and explained this all in an email. I've promptly returned all of your emails and communicated very clearly. You wrote above "So as I stated earlier, I had only received two personal training sessions and one group class session." Our group classes cost $200 and the two private lessons cost $160 each. That adds up to $520. You originally paid $1005. I don't understand why we would give you $700-$800 dollars back. This review is a perfect example of review blackmail and I'm not playing that game.
