Evolved K9 Training

The owners of Evolved K9 work extremely hard with many of our rescue dogs. As a small rescue, their knowledge, care and support help us to save some very scared dogs. Trevor is amazing and really understands the dogs, while Rachel is awesome at keeping us informed and involved with every aspect of training. I would recommend them to anyone seeking to not only train their dogs, but, to help train the owners with clear, relevant information.

Trevor came to our place because our 2 year old Doberman was starting to display behaviors we were not familiar with. She had been raised in our home for her entire life. Nothing but love and positive reinforcement. Despite that we had a few incidents where we decided that we needed to speak with a professional before something serious happened. Rachel made the appointment and Trevor came over. He was incredibly professional and watched her behavior from the time he arrived to the time he left. He noticed things that we didn't even see in her demeanor. He explained it in depth and showed us different ways to curb the behavior. We haven't had an incident since. He also educated us on different tools we could use to correct other issues we had been having and why they were happening. This guy knows dog behavior inside and out and I've trust him entirely with my dogs as we have nothing but positive results when working with him. Thanks Trevor for helping our little gopher girl see the errors in her behavior and become a happier and social gal. We appreciate you guys!

I have a two-and-a-half-year-old Border Collie that I loved but hated at the same time. She wouldn't listen to anything, she woke me up barking every morning at 5:30 to get her up. And she was aggressive with other dogs when it came to toys. Another rescue person had recommended me to evolved K9 training. Our dog spent two weeks with Trevor and literally came home a different dog. He trained her to sleep in a crate which we were unable to do. And now she never wakes me up at 5:30 in the morning. We've had to follow up trainers with Trevor to work on issues like doorbell ringing and going up and down our stairs in the house. Trevor has turned a dog that was driving me insane into a dog that we absolutely love. I could not recommend Trevor enough he is literally a dog whisperer

Trevor is an incredible trainer and his wife Rachel compliments the team. I’m the founder of a non profit organization that pulls dogs set for euthanasia from local shelters, Trevor is the only trainer we use for our NV dogs, he can ready a typical dog for adoption in about two weeks and is always willing to help with a problematic dog in need of more intensive training. This sets our dogs up for the best success and results in fewer dogs being returned for behavior troubles. He also provides free classes to our new adopters so they can keep up the training bond with their new family members. In addition he has helped me greatly with my most recent personal dog, a 1 1/2 Cane Corso which by nature is a tough breed to work with. My dog was a stray for most of his prior life making him completely unaware of how to act in a home. With Trevor’s help he has become well adjusted and has even completed his Canine Good Citizenship and earned an AKC Trick Dog Title. I cannot recommend Evolved K9 Training enough!
