We adopted a lab mix puppy in March and were unsure how effective virtual training could be during this time when we unfortunately could not meet any trainers in person. However, after one video conversation with Dave, we knew immediately that the time and investment would be worthwhile. Our consult was only intended to be 10-15 minutes, yet he dedicated an hour to speak with us and inform of us of his story and philosophy, which are so positive and inspiring. Our subsequent sessions were tailored specifically to our puppy’s behavior and development, and Dave works with a pragmatic approach to training that gets to the source of every issue, rather than masking it. Especially during a time of such uncertainty, and with an overwhelming amount of - oftentimes contradictory - information online about how to parent your puppy, it was extremely beneficial and constructive to have a trusted, reliable, understanding and highly knowledgeable resource who is passionate and genuinely enjoyable to work with in every way. We are so grateful for all of Dave’s valuable advice, guidance, time and help, and we hope to continue to work with him both virtually and in person, when time allows to do so again.

Dave was amazing! We adopted a lab-mix puppy and were so stoked when we got him. Unfortunately, we also have a 10 year old pom-maltese mix and they were having a difficult time adjusting to each other. They would fight consistently and were very territorial of their space. After finding Dave and working with him to address the issue our pups have literally become best friends! It was a lot of work, but it was all worth it because it’s so rewarding to see them play together and sleep next to each other every day. They’ve come a long way and it’s awesome to see! We couldn't be happier with Dave! Our rescue, Brig came with a bit of baggage and we tried other trainers and had no success. Dave's approach was exactly what we needed. Dave did a great job of training us and Brig. Brig is now 16 months old a very energetic, lovable lab but is a different dog than we brought home. We can have friends and family without worrying what he will do. Grateful for Dave and his patience and love for our pup! <3
I felt comfortable to ask Dave ANY question I had. He was beyond nice and helpful. You can tell he truly LOVES what he does and is very good at it. When he left I felt more confident and educated as an owner.
