EveryDog

We love EveryDog! Our golden retriever started off in their EveryPup program when he was 4 months old and is now going to daycare a few times a week and sleepovers a few times a month. He absolutely loves it and can’t wait to get out of the car every time we arrive! The entire staff is incredible - so caring and knowledgeable, and I know we are in such good hands every time we drop him off. The facility is immaculately cleaned every day and there are a limited number of dogs so they all get personal attention. It is a truly special place and we feel so lucky to have found EveryDog - would highly recommend!

I have a puppy who has visual impairment and some neurological/motor control challenges. The combination of his physical challenges led to some difficult and unpredictable and unmanageable behavior. He would bite me, he refused to walk, and he would get spooked easily. I was searching for a trainer to work with us, because I felt like this dog was beyond my capabilities. No advice that I received from friends or vets seemed to help, and I was very close to giving up. From the first moment Dave met my puppy, Natto, he had an accurate assessment of the limitations we were working with. He could tell that Natto couldn't see well, and that was very helpful for helping me understand Natto's fears and find other ways to communicate. I learned how to identify triggers for Natto and desensitize them. I learned how to reward his good behaviors and train new habits like listening to me, not jumping up on me when I'm carrying bags, and to sleep through the night. I honestly thought I could never leave Natto around kids because I wasn't sure when he might be triggered. After just a few sessions with Dave, I truly feel I have a transformed dog. He is calm and gentle around people and children. He sleeps through the night. And though he still has moments of outburst, he listens to me in those moments instead of acting out and biting me. I honestly can say that I don't know what I would have done without EveryDog's help. I am beyond grateful to have the wisdom and support to help make the best home for my dog. Dave was so genuine and helpful. I was not very familiar with dogs and he helped my kids and me to understand more about them. We were having some trouble getting our dog to listen and his recommendations were so helpful. What is being taught takes commitment to spending time training your puppy, but with repetition it does help them and you. I am able to enjoy our dog so much more now that he has a good routine that he feels comfortable in.

I first consulted with the owner Dave via e mail. I found him to be very knowledgeable, experienced and aware of dog behavior and training. He was patient and understanding about how to deal with our dog's problem behavior. We next had Dave come to our home for one-on-one training with our dog Larry. The results were awesome! We found Dave to be passionate and empathetic about helping dogs and their owners live together in a way that makes all of us happy! We highly recommend Dave and the EveryDog team for your pet's training and special needs!
