Our certified, positive reinforcement trainers and behavior specialists in Austin, TX are here to help you with everything from puppy socialization to basic manners/obedience to nosework and agility. We also help with fear, anxiety, aggression, and other behavior problems. We host group classes in both North and South Austin and do private in-home training throughout Austin.
We offer financial assistance on all of our programs, to ensure that cost isn't a barrier to training. We also offer Spanish-language training, free webinars, and a referral list of all of the certified, positive reinforcement trainers in Austin.

What are the best options for training my new puppy?
That's a great question! Puppy socialization is VERY important. Puppies are learning a lot about the world from about 8-14 weeks during their "critical socialization period," so it's very important that they start doing things and meeting people early. We want to keep puppies safe until they're vaccinated, but puppy classes are a very safe way to start training and socializing as early as 8 weeks.
Our puppy classes will teach basic skills like how to sit, drop it, and walking on leash. Puppy Kindergarten will also cover topics like how to stop puppies from biting, potty training, preventing puppies from chewing on things they shouldn't, and avoiding other future problems.
Puppy training classes also provide socialization with other puppies to help them learn appropriate play, as well as meeting new people in a safe environment (again, puppies do not have to be fully vaccinated to start puppy classes!).
We can also set up private training sessions for puppies!

We love Every Dog!
We loved the South Congress location, but we enjoy the Stassney location even more. The trainers are great and the methods are all positive reinforcement. The classes are priced extremely low compared to private lessons, and as a non-profit, they offer financial aid too.
Our dog is on his 3rd class with Every Dog. He absolutely loves it, he is eager to go to class every time. He is a rescued abandoned farm dog with no prior experience with humans who is obstinate and was said to be untrainable.
The training is for the owners, and while we know training outside of class is the most important, we believe having him in class watching the other obedient dogs is great for his development. We are not sure if he will ever pass the CGC test, but we are seeing incremental improvements every week. For a dog that was supposedly untrainable, he has a pretty long list of things he can do now. We plan to continue to take various classes while we apply the training outside of class as well.

We LOVE Every Dog. Our dog is 2 and we've been attending classes since he's been 12 weeks old. He was a very challenging puppy and with their help he's been transformed into an amazing and very well behaved dog (we did all the puppy and behavior classes up to advanced / canine good citizen). We've had nothing but great experiences with all of their trainers and we've learned so much. And we were so pumped when they opened a south location. We now regularly attend agility classes with Latania, which I also highly recommend. Not only is it fun for the dogs, but it's a fun way to practice and reinforce training (and also wear out their brains). <3

Everyone at Every dog Behavioral and training is kind, friendly, and supportive. I have been very pleased with how the trainers have treated me and my dog. I would definitely recommend Every Dog to anyone wanting to strengthen their bond with their dog.

This training group was able to add a wheelchair ramp to make dog training accessible to everyone. Each training class is cost effective with a group environment. We look forward to going to puppy school every week. I highly recommend Everydog!
