Nate is absolutely the best dog trainer around! I had seen a different while waiting to get in with Nate. I was told my 6 month old German Shepherd would need anxiety medication before even attempting any formal training and Was told she would possibly need to be rehomed as she was just such a nervous dog. I spent 90 minutes there and there was no progress made. Luckily, I got in with Nate, and as soon as he took the leash to my dog it was magic. My dog was very nervous to new situation - barking and acting aggressive outside the home. Within 20 minutes Nate had her barking under control and a solution for me. I ended the appointment with my dog sitting by the door watching people and dogs come and go not making a peep. It was mind blowing! Wish I could give more than 5 stars! Absolutely go to Nate!

I took my year old wild and out-of-control English Springer Spaniel to Nate and now, a year later, I have a well-behaved and responsive dog. She comes promptly when called, doesn't jump up on people, and doesn't pull when on leash. My dog loved Nate and looked forward to work sessions with him. Mary, who works with Nate, has groomed my dog and done some training also. Both are professional, competent, and creative.

We could not be happier to have started training early with our Lucy. We and our pup are better because of it almost 1 year into what started as private training and understanding of our then 12 week old Australian Shepard and evolved into 2 day per week "school."Lucy loves Nate, Mary and all the other dogs at EDC. Because of their work and our not "screwing it up," Lucy can go anywhere and everywhere with us and we do not have to worry about how she will behave. Long rides in the car, dinning out, or going to classes or events where there are lots of strangers, humans and dogs, we have the skills to have a pleasurable time. Also she does not chase other animals and is calm during unexpected "booms" like fireworks etc. The knowledge and trustworthy advice gives us peace of mind. It is not about the dog's behavior, but always comes back to us as humans. Invest in the EDC way if you want a civilized but fun loving relationship with your animal!
