Estate Dogs LLC

Me and my fiancé took our German Shepard mix here a few weeks ago and couldn’t be more impressed by the training. We took her to a different local training facility for a 4 week program and we saw more here at estate in a day than the whole 4 weeks at the other facility. You get your moneys worth and more. It taught us what we needed to do better and made us realize how smart and capable our dog was. Great people and made us feel comfortable through the entire process.

Bill, Shawn, and Noah are all amazing dog trainers. We went to them as a last resort for our aggressive 5 month old Golden Retriever puppy who had bitten several children and adults. Bill suggested boarding the puppy there with them for a month. We just picked him up and wow he's a totally different dog. These guys know what they're doing, are helpful, knowledgeable, and professional. I just attended an in person training session and was blown away by how well trained the other dogs were. They showed me how to handle our dog moving forward which is super helpful. We will definitely be continuing training with them and most likely will bring our 3 year old Golden to train with them as well.

I came to Bill with very complex needs. I have a 5yr old standard but am adding a Mal, and needed help as a handler to get better with the dog I have as well as the one I'm adding. His attention to detail, and ability to explain the why's behind the reasoning for what we are doing based on the dog, the handler and where you want to go is impeccable. He's been able to transition by 5yr old while explaining how this is different from how we will bring the puppy along in each phase. Overall I spend as much time asking questions and talking to him as I do training the dog, but I'm taking the workshop which to me is very reasonable. We address way more with me as a handler than we do the dog. You have to be able to take a lot of criticism (and Bill is too nice about it at times because of how reserved he is) to do this and do it right by the dog and them giving you the knowledge. It is a serious commitment that many people don't realize or want to be honest, and then they blame someone else. I see now that I'm only focusing on about 20% of what I'm interested in regarding the the workshop since there's so much there, and I will have take it again to focus on another 20%-30% as I get better as a handler and can focus on more. There's so much you can learn with the dynamics in breeds and temperaments/personalities even within the breed you're interested in so it's very difficult to just say Estate Dogs should be able to just help everyone based on the dog they have whether they inherited it or selected it.........they obviously can't (many times that's the owner's fault not the dogs or theirs), however, it seems the overwhelming majority like me think they are pretty good at what they do and are stand up people.
