Shawn is an amazing dog trainer. I decided to call them as a last resort for our aggressive 5 year old Pompsky. I wasn't sure since my dog was already 5- but when I called I was greeted by the nicest older lady that made me feel very comfortable and excited that there still was a chance. These guys know what they're doing, are super helpful, knowledgeable, and professional. He encouraged all family members to get involved, and he showed all of us how to handle our dog moving forward in different situations, which is super helpful. He spoke to us, so we could understand exactly what he was doing and saying. I would recommend them 100% to anyone looking for training.

My experience with and participation in the Estate Dogs training has truly been a pivotal chapter in both my life and the journey with my K9 companion! I have an almost 1-year-old European Dobermann, and we embarked on this adventure with Shawn from Estate Dogs when my pup was just about 7 1/2 months old. Shawn took the time to evaluate my pup and crafted a program specifically designed for our unique needs and the goals I had in mind for training. The in-person training program has been incredibly enlightening, revealing so much about both myself and my dog. The before and after is incredible. I get so many compliments on how well mannered and obedient my pup is! Shawn possesses an extraordinary depth of knowledge regarding dog and human behavior patterns along with nonverbal communication. His insights have reshaped my understanding of the training process and the essence of the K9 partnership. I've come to realize that as handlers, we must rely on ourselves to properly teach and guide our dogs, just as much as we depend on them to absorb our lessons. This journey has taught me invaluable patience, not only with my animal but with myself as well. Throughout the training, Shawn continuously assessed both my and my dog's needs, making thoughtful adjustments to the program whenever necessary. He also invited me to participate in group training sessions, which provided outstanding opportunities to enhance my dog's socialization skills and improve our communication with distractions. I cannot express my gratitude enough to Shawn for this remarkable experience! I always wanted a German Shepherd and I finally got one. I brought her home and she was full of energy and love but was so unruly, we thought we might have to find her a new home. I had failed multiple times trying to train her myself and was about to give up but then I found Estate Dogs. I chose the kennel option where she would stay a week and work with Shawn and I would pick her up at the end of the week. In just two weeks of working with Shawn she was a completely different dog! She did both the on leash and off leash program. Shawn doesn't just train the dog, he watches you and educates you on what he is doing so you understand what the dog is capable of as well as the why and how. In just about 2 months I went from having a tornado to having a well behaved dog that I can confidently take everywhere with me. Having Shawn teach you and your dog is worth every penny.
