Essential Dog Training in Lacey is absolutely amazing! My dog, Tucker, was afraid of the world—every noise, every new person, and every new experience made him nervous. But thanks to Tasha’s incredible patience, expertise, and kindness, he has completely transformed! She worked wonders with him, building his confidence step by step, and now he is a much happier, braver dog. Tasha has such a natural way with dogs, and Tucker absolutely loves her. It’s been incredible to watch his progress, and I can’t thank her enough for the time and effort she put into helping him. We highly recommend Tasha and Essential Dog Training!! We were at our wit’s end with our lab/border collie mix puppy Kona. It was nearly impossible to take her for a walk because she barked and growled at everything and everyone including guests. We knew we needed professional help and evaluated several training programs until we found Essential Dog Training and Tasha. From the very first session, Tasha gave us hope and progress. Kona has progressed wonderfully in the barking department, and we can now go for walks without terrorizing the neighborhood! She walks with us instead of dragging us and has learned several commands and keywords. Kona has really bonded with Tasha and has found a new best friend. We attribute this to the personal attention, extensive knowledge, and instinctive nature Tasha has with Kona. We couldn’t be happier with Essential Dog Training.

We brought our dog Bedford in for training with Tasha and cannot say enough great things about this experience. Not really knowing what to expect from our first session the information about our dog’s breed and dogs in general that was provided through this experience is invaluable . Tasha took time to understand our dogs temperament and our living situation along with her knowledge of our dogs breed before beginning specific training exercises. We benefited so much from her wealth of knowledge and were able to apply all the skills we learned during our sessions at home. She was so generous with her time and it’s obvious of her passion for dogs. Tasha’s guidance made such a difference that friends and family were commenting on the improvement after just a few sessions. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for training their dog. :)
