Eric Letendre’s Dog Training school is the best! Eric’s understanding of dogs and how to help you as a dog owner to understand and correct the bad behavior is amazing. He is patient and takes the time to make sure you understand and have the necessary tools to succeed in training your pet. I brought Willow my half lab & shepherd puppy to him, feeling quite overwhelmed with my very strong willed, energetic puppy who was determined to be the boss of me…..lol…. but with Eric’s puppy classes and socialization play groups along with his training techniques, Willow is doing great. We are now in level I and I couldn’t be more happy with her progress! This incredible team of Eric, Rui and Audra ….. who are patient and encouraging will help you every step of the way. I cannot thank you enough for all your help and look forward to continuing our training further.

We took our 1 year old cockapoo to Eric in March of 2025. One word- RESULTS! I was at my wits end with our dog. He was resource guarding terrible and was getting worse by the month. Several family members had been bit with the skin broken. I could see aggression problems as a puppy, but people kept telling me this was normal puppy stuff. I knew different. Our dog would refuse to get off the couch when asked and would bite anybody who forced him. And the older he got- the worse he got. I’d worked with another trainer recommended by a vet- and after several lessons and a few private (close to $1000) with zero results I was frustrated and desperate for results. Not to mention- I used almost a bag of treats each lesson. This type of trainer DID NOT WORK FOR MY DOG. HE GOT WORSE. . Bring on Eric Letender. First private lesson- the resource guarding was addressed and stopped. SERIOUSLY ! This was my greatest concern. And…..I’m the boss. Our dog will immediately get off furniture when asked. Prior to Eric, our dog would lift his lip, growl and attempt to bite if you forced him off furniture. He is learning not to jump on any guests who comes over. Almost there after a couple weeks. He walks beautiful on his leash with zero reactivity to other dogs. Just amazing! I cannot express our satisfaction. Eric allowed me to take control back. He’s helped me to have the type of relationship with my dog I’d been hoping for. Eric has taught me to be firm and take control- without treats. I have never seen my dog more content. Life is enjoyable for our entire family. And I’m finally, after 10 long months, enjoying my dog. If anybody is looking for a trainer with fast results that are effective- look no further. Cannot recommend this place enough, regardless of where your dog is at. Eric, Rui and the rest of the team are phenomenal. I saw them work with all types of dogs from skittish and nervous to aggressive and mean, whether looking for basic training or advanced competition work, they do it all. My wife and I took our 4-yr-old rescue mutt who was relatively well trained in the basics, but we wanted her to do a little better on off-leash recall and being more calm when people approach/enter our house, and we got not only the specific results we were looking for, but so much more than that, so many great tips and techniques, and we now have an overall happier, smarter and well-trained dog.
