EPIC DOG PROS

I would HIGHLY recommend Epic Dog Pros for anyone who is looking for dog training. This will be a lengthy review but they deserve all the praise I am about to give! Anyone who is on the fence about training READ. I have a German Shepherd/American Staffy mix who was very hard to control and reactive towards strangers (men especially) and other dogs. It was limiting where I could take her and who could come over our house because it would cause too much stress or make whatever we were doing not enjoyable. I was recommended to Epic from a very good friend of mine who had a dog training with them. After hours of research and her recommendation, I decided to go with Epic and I could not be happier. Vince came to our house for a consultation with my entire family. He stayed for over 1.5 hours answering every possible question we had about their training methods, their facilities, how she would be treated, EVERY SINGLE QUESTION. He never once made us feel silly or dumb for asking all of our questions. I (like most people) love my dog like she is my child and he was very empathetic of that and reassuring, but also very HONEST and straightforward. River was VERY REACTIVE towards him and within 5 mins of working with her (evaluation purposes) he had her walking around. He was GREAT with her. When he came to pick her up from my home he spoke with my parents for an additional 30 mins answering all of their questions and giving them lots of reassurance. One of our biggest fears was that training would change River's personality. Vince assured us that she would come home the same dog with better manners and he was absolutely RIGHT. We still have our exact same girl but 10X better behaved and she will only get better! Vince had River for 3 weeks and she came home a week ago. In the short time she has been home I can already see an immeasurable difference in her. She listens better, is calmer and more well balanced. Before training I only was able to have semi control over her was with a prong collar, and now I feel in complete control with just her regular collar and her e-collar. About half way through her training I had a few questions/comments/concerns. I addressed them with Vince and within a few hours he quickly addressed what I had to say and reassured me about all of my comments. EDP not only trains the dogs but they also train the owners. Many of River's issues were because of my actions and with the combination of the go-home sessions, the home visits, and the group sessions I feel confident that I will be able to be an effective and knowledgeable owner who will be able to give balance to my dog. Arturo worked with me during my go home session and did our first home visit. He was very effective at giving me directions on how to give commands/appropriately use the e-collar. I felt comfortable to ask him ANY question I had. He was beyond nice and helpful. You can tell he truly LOVES what he does and is very good at it. When he left I felt more confident and educated as an owner. Sending your dog to training is not the magic solution to an ill-behaved dog. When they come home it is still a lot of work and commitment and Vince and his whole team are very honest and up front about the work that it entails. With Epic Dog Pros as part of your team it is completely obtainable!! I feel completed supported by them to ask any question I have or for any type of help I need. I truly feel that that are on my side and apart of a team. I am so grateful to them for helping me give my Baby River a better life, one where she can accompany me anywhere I go!

I had a real problem child on my hands and my recent adopted boy. He marked all over the house, chewed up about $5K worth of furniture, pulled on the leash & reactive to other dogs. I asked my neighbors on Next Door and had many recommendations for EPIC DOG PROS. I had a consultation with Dylan and decided to move forward. Needless to say, I have a different and very happy dog now! Since he came home from Doggie Camp he has not done any destruction, no marking and his obedience is unbelievable! i couldn't be happier and he is happier! Great choice for anyone! Bruno was out of control and very aggressive! Dylan gave us the tools we needed to maintain control of our very energetic, mostly disobedient, and leash pulling Pit Bull! When I called Dylan I was at a bit of a loss and a little discouraged with how little control I could maintain with Bruno. Dylan came faithfully each session and gave us an excellent understanding of how a dog 'thinks' and gave us very concise and workable methods that were completely effective toward ours and Bruno's peace of mind. Before we were afraid to leave the front door open; now we leave it open all the time and I can even go get my laundry without the fear that Bruno will leave the house. Thanks Dylan!!

Sam has worked with our corgi, Bailey, for two weeks and while Bailey is far from perfect there is an incredible difference in her behavior. She truly has a great handle on her job and really understands how to work with dogs, as well as explain things to people. Sam was very friendly, helpful, and patient with us and we could not be happier with the knowledge we now have to work with Bailey. She made leaps of progress from the two weeks and I can only imagine how much more she will make from constant practice, as well as attending the weekly group training. Dylan did our initial consultation and was incredibly professional and helpful, as was Olivia during the scheduling process. Overall we highly recommend their training, as well as Sam, and we have already told multiple friends about it.
