Enzo's Dog Training

My 1.5 year old German shepard/malinois mix had basic obedience training prior to coming to Enzo’s so we were unsure we needed more training but we decided get help using the e-collar so that she can be off-leash and work on some reactive behaviors. We are so happy we did as after 5 weeks of one-on-one training and a week of boarding we are both so much more confident and she is the awesome dog we wanted her to be while out and about. Lexi was so helpful in providing clear guidance on what to work on each week and trouble-shooting any challenges that came up. I felt so supported by Lexi and she is excellent at what she does. I also love that we can now board our dog or use the day camp and that she will be well-cared for and can continue the structure and on-going training while at Enzo’s. It was absolutely worth it.

We had an outstanding experience with Enzo’s Dog Training in Portland, and especially with our trainer, Lexi. From our very first session, Lexi’s knowledge and professionalism stood out—she immediately put us at ease and gave us total confidence in her expertise. She created an environment where no question felt too small, and we truly felt supported every step of the way. We came in with two very different challenges: a stubborn older Lab and a high-energy Aussie mix puppy. Lexi took the time to understand both of their personalities and tailored her approach to meet each of their needs. Her guidance has been incredibly helpful as we work on reactivity and impulsive behavior, and we’ve already seen meaningful progress with both dogs. What we appreciated most was Lexi’s ability to explain the “why” behind her methods in a way that felt practical and doable in everyday life. She’s patient, encouraging, and clearly very experienced. We’re so grateful for her help and would highly recommend Enzo’s Dog Training—especially Lexi—to anyone looking for thoughtful, effective, and personalized training support.

My dog was in the board and train in Battleground for some serious behavior issues that he had developed. Grace and the team in BG were amazing for laying the foundation. After his board and train though, Lexi at the Portland facility has been huge in teaching me how to train my dog. I have learned so much through our follow up lessons and weekly portland classes and our chit chats at daycamp drop off/pick up. She always has a positive attitude, is fun to talk to, and clearly loves my dog. I am so thankful for this program including the boarding and daycamp program. I do believe all of their offerings and their very skilled trainers has allowed me to keep my dog and has truly changed our lives. I am looking forward to gaining more and more freedom with my dog with help from Lexi!

Lexi and David at Enzo’s did a great job with both of my dogs. Lexi’s approach was practical, realistic, and easy to apply in everyday life. I appreciated how much she focused on teaching me alongside the dogs, and she broke everything down into simple, manageable steps that never felt overwhelming. The whole process was efficient, organized, and professional from beginning to end. I highly recommend them!
