I have been taking my dog Rubi to Enlightened Dogs since she was a puppy. She is 5 years old now. I have used all services offered including “Snakeworx” training and it’s been a wonderful. The trainers are very caring, knowledgeable and experienced. Like most of us dog lovers, we just don’t take our dogs anywhere and drop them off; we do our research. We have used Enlighten Dog Training for many of our dogs . We have used the board and training classes at their Cherry Valley facility as well as the Obedience classes offsite at various locations . Their Pet CPR training is excellent too . All of their trainers are very dedicated and professional! They have our strongest recommendation!!

We had such a great experience with Chris Ashton at Enlighten Dog Training. Chris helped us tremendously with our energetic Lab, Toby, and gave us practical tools and guidance that truly made a difference in both Toby’s behavior and our confidence as dog owners. Chris is incredibly professional, patient, and clearly has a vast amount of knowledge and experience. One thing that especially stood out was a presentation he gave about pet safety and signs of when dogs overheat. It was incredibly informative and something I have referenced many times since. You can tell Chris genuinely cares about both the dogs and the families he works with. I highly recommend Enlighten Dog Training to anyone looking for knowledgeable, thoughtful, and effective dog training support.
