Enjoy Your Dog Training is a professional, force-free dog training facility based in Downers Grove, IL. Led by owner and head trainer Pam Yano, CPDT-KA, we specialize in small-group dog training classes limited to four dogs per class, private in-home training, reactive dog programs, puppy training, and therapy dog preparation and evaluation.
Our certified trainers use positive reinforcement and fear-free methods to help dogs of all ages build confidence, focus, and real-world skills. We are known locally for our Therapy Dog, Facility Dog, and AKC Canine Good Citizen programs, as well as our community outreach and education efforts.

My Aussie mix (18 months) and I recently completed week 4/5 of the Agility for Fun Class. We have thoroughly enjoying the class! Karla is an excellent instructor and gives feedback and reinforcement to improve the run through the courses. She is also very patient and understanding of all of the different dogs and owners. This class is not only mentally and physically stimulating for my dog, but also for myself - especially being mindful that I am not cutting him off in the course! He has only improved as weeks pass and it is even noticeable within each class! My boy is also very tired after, so he definitely gets a lot of stimulation during these sessions!
We will be signing up for more agility classes and trying some other offered classes as well!

Came here for a practice test, then actual test for Therapy Dogs International. During the practice test Pam gave great advice regarding areas that my dog needed to work on. The actual test went very smoothly. Thanks to Pam's advice during the practice test we knew what to practice on, which resulted in my dog passing on his first attempt! Both my dog and I were very comfortable here and I highly recommend coming here for any training.

I've been taking our dogs to Enjoy your Dog for a few years now. At first it was just a few fun classes for our older dog. Then after we got a new puppy, I wanted to start him in training class as soon as possible. We registered him in all the puppy classes, level 1 and 2, and he just graduated Canine Good Citizen. The instructors are very knowledgeable and very patient with your dog if he/she should misbehave. Any questions I had about my dog's behavior, the instructor always had ways of different approaches I could use.
Whether your dog is an adult or puppy, I strongly recommend taking your pooch to Enjoy Your Dog. So many classes for all types of Dogs.
