Enjoy Your Dog Training is a professional, force-free dog training facility based in Downers Grove, IL. Led by owner and head trainer Pam Yano, CPDT-KA, we specialize in small-group dog training classes limited to four dogs per class, private in-home training, reactive dog programs, puppy training, and therapy dog preparation and evaluation. Our certified trainers use positive reinforcement and fear-free methods to help dogs of all ages build confidence, focus, and real-world skills. We are known locally for our Therapy Dog, Facility Dog, and AKC Canine Good Citizen programs, as well as our community outreach and education efforts. I have now taken at least 3 class series with Enjoy Your Dog. They have exceeded my expectations every time. The classes are small (approx. 4-5 dogs) which helps my dog remain comfortable and my dog receives a ton of attention from the trainer! The trainers also take the time to give you tips and techniques to use when you are at home training your dog on your own. Enjoy Your Dog also offers a wide variety of classes. I noticed my dog was getting a little burnt out with the non-stop skills training, so we took a break from that and did an extremely fun agility class for our next 5 week class series! I highly recommend Enjoy Your Dog for not only gaining the skills, CGC or therapy certs, but also for the fun aspect!!
I taken many a training class and have been to training classes. I have foster rescue dogs a long time. I loved my class I took with my 10 month puppy. They are positive trainers. They meet you and your dog where you are at. The classes are small so not overwhelming. I highly recommend.
Enjoy Your Dog and Pam Yano offer positive dog training classes and private training for puppies in Downers Grove, that offer so much variety and prioritize fun! The small classes also makes it a really unique place, and allows for higher quality instruction and training for the dogs.

I highly recommend trainer Pam Yano and Enjoy Your Dog in Downers Grove. Pam is an exceptional trainer and highly qualified in all areas of dog training. Her expertise and extra care with my dog made our experience extremely enjoyable and productive. Pam also took the time to teach me some training methods I could do at home.
