Enjoy Your Dog Training is a professional, force-free dog training facility based in Downers Grove, IL. Led by owner and head trainer Pam Yano, CPDT-KA, we specialize in small-group dog training classes limited to four dogs per class, private in-home training, reactive dog programs, puppy training, and therapy dog preparation and evaluation. Our certified trainers use positive reinforcement and fear-free methods to help dogs of all ages build confidence, focus, and real-world skills. We adopted an older dog and couldn't get him to use the doggy door. Mindy came to our house and had him going in and out within 15 minutes! They have also helped us in other ways. This is an amazingly wonderful organization.
The management and staff are fantastic. It is obvious that they love dogs and enjoy helping owners and their pets develop a strong relationship through positive reinforcement training. I have been to numerous training facilities and haven’t found anyone better. You and your pup will not be disappointed!

I can't say enough good things about the reactive dog program. My little Luna is a feisty Chihuahua who was really lacking confidence. She has made so much progress in a short amount of time in this class. I am much more confident when taking her and her sister on walks now. The class size is very small and the exposure to the other dogs progresses week by week. The amazing trainers always pause to check and make sure each dog is comfortable before moving on to the next level. I will definitely keep enrolling both of my dogs in classes here. It's very obvious to me that the safety and wellbeing of the dogs is the number one priority of Enjoy Your Dog!

Enjoy Your Dog has many wonderful programs with a very friendly and knowledgeable staff. We just finished a nose work class and level one obedience class. They were great for our newly adopted puppy. She was a bit shy and not confident with herself initially, and both classes have helped tremendously with her coming into herself and being more at ease. We are already signed up for more classes, and can't wait to enjoy them with her!!
