Endless Pawsibilities Canine Enrichment Retreat

I actually wanted to leave a video review but unfortunately videos are limited to 30 secs only and to capture our amazing journey with Charla and her entire EP Team in only 30 seconds is not doable and wouldn’t do justice! Our little rescue starting acting up, becoming more territorial, leash and dog reactive after about 3 months. We initially tried a group training in a different facility but that didn’t go too well. After doing some research we turned to Charla, who assessed Seymour (our rescue) and we came to the conclusion that the best education Seymour [as well as us] could get would be the 4-week MVP training with her. Due to a family emergency, we were not able to take Seymour home right away after training and so he was boarded at the retreat for an additional period of time. It was very important to continue his training and therefore each and every staff member at EP made sure to do so, and yet treated Seymour as their own. This was the absolutely best decision we could have made and other than social, we also signed up for the AKC C.G.C Certification Advanced Obedience Class which we are very excited about! Our dog, Phoenix, is a stray/rescue who has reactivity towards other dogs. We tried trainers in the past but they didn't expose her to other dogs like she needed. We found Endless Pawsabilities and Sky, our trainer, who specialize in behavior cases like Phoenix. She stayed at the facility for about 6 weeks with obediance training and daily exposure to other dogs. We received near daily updates with pictures and were able to visit her roughly half way through her stay. Sky has provided tips and suggestions on supplies such as collars, leashes, and raised cots, and will continue improving Phoenix's behavior through the follow-ups we have with her over the next year. The admin staff, such as Raylee, were prompt with responding, friendly, and helpful when we had questions and when any hiccups occured. This was all greatly appreciated. This isn't an end-all-be-all fix as some might expect. As owners we have our part to do now Phoenix is home by keeping up with her training and keeping her exposed to dogs. We look forward to continuing our training at Endless Pawsabilities- we need it as much as Phoenix!
