Does my 8mos old have to have training before he has therapy training?
We do training for Therapy with Bright & Beautiful Therapy Dogs. Your dog must be at least 1 years old to take their test. Dogs do not have to have training before they do Therapy training yet it would be a good idea and make your therapy class less stressful if your dog comes into class with at least the basic training skills; sit, down, stay, come and walks calmly on a leash.

Sharon has years of experience working with animals and is so knowledgeable about training dogs. She is a wealth of information managing any behavior. Her training is gentle and only uses positive control. Additionally, the classes are fun and you and your dog will make some great friends! It is a warm and accepting environment with reasonably priced classes offered at any ability level including fitness classes for your pup. I can’t tell you how appreciative I am for her expertise. My BMD is now a certified therapy dog and has obtained her CGC certification as well! Thank you Sharon!
