Elk River Kennels

We brought our 6-month-old pup to Jeff for obedience and hunting training in September. He was recommended to us by our friends who also brought their dog to him for training and boarding. I am truly amazed at the work Jeff did! Our pup knows multiple commands, how to walk on a leash without pulling, how to retrieve birds and drop them on command, and so much more! He is still a crazy puppy at times, but he knows when we mean business and its time to calm down and listen; and I thank Jeff for teaching him that! Jeff is very personable and great to work with. It is easy to see his love and passion for dogs. I would absolutely recommend him and trust him with our current dog and any future dog(s).

We were recommended to Jeff by a friend of ours who had their dogs trained and boarded with Jeff. We've been bringing our dog to Jeff since she was a puppy. We have gotten our dog trained and use Jeff frequently for boarding. We've had nothing but fantastic experiences using Jeff from training to boarding to recommending the best food to feed your pup. When we picked up our dog from training, she was leash, e-collar, and house trained along with knowing the basics every dog should know. We chose not to go as far as the hunting training Jeff provides but have heard only positive reviews from our friends who have had their dogs trained as hunting dogs through him. Every time we take our dog back to Jeff for boarding, she gets a little training tune-up and comes back better than when we dropped her off. I can't say enough good about Jeff and his business! They truly care about the dogs and their owners
