Elite Pup Training

We signed up Stella for EPTs 3 week boarding program and are very happy with the results! We had done other training courses before choosing EPT but we still needed more help to address Stella's reactiveness. In the past we couldn't even take her on a walk without her pulling the whole way or lunging at cars driving by. Thankfully all of that is no longer an issue thanks to EPT. She would also get really worked up with dogs on walks and thanks to the training not only has that improved but we also know how to snap Stella out of it before she gets overworked. Thanks for much to Ricky, Vanessa, and the team! We're looking forward to bringing Stella back for daycare soon 😊✨️

Just after my 150lb Newf Angus turned 2, while we were on a walk, he pulled me over chasing a cat. This incident plus a couple of other concerns made me seek out Ricky for help. Ricky and his staff are amazing. I now feel confident walking him both on and off leash. While before Gus could get rough playing with other dogs because of his size, he is now much better socialized. Last year Gus would get spooked by Halloween decorations and now, thanks to his training, he walks by even the most outrageous yard displays without a care. Helping guarantee his and my safety as well as that of other dogs and humans was well worth the investment of time and money.

Ricky and his team are AMAZING! My 3-year old pup and I worked 1:1 with Ricky for 8 sessions and she also stayed 2 nights for boarding with training and socialization at the ranch. Before working with Elite Pup Training, it was a struggle going on walks with my dog. As a nervous dog, she was reactive, would lunge and scream horribly at the sight of other dogs, squirrels, and skateboarders. Off-leash she would run away. Training was wonderful for both me and my dog. Ricky is patient, motivating and a true coach. He is very honest but kind and gives you the tools and confidence to put the training into practice. My dog and I now go on walks with tranquility, we are able to go to the beach and dog park where she can run around without fear. Thanks Elite Pup Training!!

Amazing!!! We had tried out a couple of trainers in Santa Barbara and weren’t very impressed, then we found elite pup training and from our very first evaluation with Ricky we knew that he was someone who genuinely wanted to help and is the best of the best at what he does. We did 8 sessions with him, and in just 2 months our English staffy/pit mix, Kinley has changed so much! Kinley used to be so scared of dogs from being attacked at a young age, she would always be pulling on the leash on walks, lunge at other dogs, wouldn’t come when called, and was overall very unpredictable with dogs. Kinley was a challenge for us because she’s very sensitive but also stubborn, Ricky knew exactly how to train her and most importantly he gave us the tools to make her results long term and not just a temporary fix. We are blown away by the results that we achieved in such a short period of time. She is a joy to take on walks now and we can take her to the beach, let her off leash with other dogs around and know that she will come back when called and has much better dog interactions! Our lives have totally changed, and we can’t thank Ricky enough!
