I trained with Monique previously in Scottsdale and it was a no brainer to ask her to board my two dogs while I was traveling through Europe recently. Monique took amazing care of my dogs. They already knew her but with my trip lasting 10 days, I was still feeling some nervousness. Monique immediately put me at ease and the first morning after I dropped them off, she posted pictures. I could tell they were happy and I did not give it another thought while I was traveling. I just got to enjoy their happiness through pictures. Monique has a gift with working with dogs and their owners. She has certainly helped me become a better owner and handler. Something else I value about Monique is her commitment to work with rescues. I ended up finding my second dog, Memphis through training with Monique. She helped me get Piper and Memphis introduced the right way and it led to a very successful adoption! My dogs are thriving and I couldn’t be happier. Monique took a chance on my sweet baby Yuki who is a very energetic, but very young puppy! In just 2 weeks with Monique she will hold place command, is responding really well to leash training and proper e-collar training. She’s made a huge difference in giving Yuki a good base for us to build in rather than us trying to figure out how to do it on our own! I really appreciate the dedicated 1:1 attention she received in her Board and Train in a personal environment. Would highly recommend her to anyone!

We have had trainers with various dogs before. Many times, we didn’t finish the lessons that we paid for. Monique was highly recommended by another trainer. It was a difficult decision because of the price, but we know we made the right decision going with Monique. A family member, and first time dog owner had this unusually difficult German Shepherd, cattle dog mix from two previous owners who were unable to take care of him. Because of our past experiences with easier dogs to handle, we needed to make sure we picked the right trainer for our relative’s beloved dog, especially because re-homing would have been difficult, or even impossible. This dog has tremendous spirit, and is enthusiastic, loving, affectionate, and very smart with a ton of energy. Because of Monique, who has gone the extra mile, and with her outstanding experience, she has taught the dog and our extended family how to handle him. She is very humane and this dog is so much happier now that he knows what to do and not do, and when to do it. Whereas before, we were frustrated and yelling when we urgently needed him to keep from being too rough and hurting other dogs, himself, others or destroying the house. All of us were miserable and exhausted. Now everyone is happier and safer. We definitely recommend Monique, and thankful we found such an excellent trainer. This was well worth it!
