Elite K9 Service

We adopted a 2 year old shepherd mix from the dog pound and were having some behavioral issues. We found Elite K9 Service and went to a meet and greet they offered for free. That was a good move. Elliot did some simple exercises with the 8 or so dogs that attended and all we owners were very pleased with the demonstration. Our pooch is responding very well, and yes, it's as much about the owner as it is with the dog. I highly recommend Elite k9 services. Their staff is knowledgeable and friendly and has loads of experience. Thank you all .

Edit in response to reply: I picked the board and train because you said it was the best choice for my dog and I could not be there three times a.day for training myself. Also, still no word on the additional $50 to "reserve my dog's space" in the board and train. I'm presuming I'll never see a dime of that money even though I didn't use the service. Yes you cancelled the invoice, but that doesn't resolve the money you did accept from me towards it. They were nice enough at first. I signed up for the free dog training on a Saturday morning. I met with Elliot and two of his associates, and there were maybe a dozen dogs there with their owners. My dog is very over stimulated and that was part of the reason we were there. They gave me a slip lead to put around his neck and give him a tug if he barked, which he did several times because they were unfamiliar dogs in the area. He did well in the training demonstration and they asked if they could sign me up for a consultation for a behavior class for a $50 assessment charge. I agreed to that, signed up and paid the $50 and we set a date for the following week. Great so far. We got to the consultation and I sat with the lead fellow for 90 minutes as we went over my dog's issues and needs. In between that he showed me pictures of his dogs, the compound and other things. Okay. Then he informed me it was going to be a 3200 charge for a 4-week board and train which he felt would be the best option for my dog. I've had a negative experience with a previous board and train with someone else and wasn't really comfortable with the idea. But he insisted that was the best option. Then came the really fun part. In order to sign up for this, he demanded that I pay $150 right then and there to reserve my spot in the board and train. I was between pay periods, barely had enough money to even drive out there with gasoline and all, and did not have the money on me whatsoever not to mention that no one at all had hinted to me that I would need to bring money to this meeting. Well he would not take no for an answer. He proceeded to ask me to go through every credit card I had in my wallet.p did I have a debit card? Did I have a credit card that I have a cash app, did I have anything that I could withdraw money from? He actually Trident credit card that I had to see if he could make a withdrawal which somehow he was able to withdraw $50 from it but that was all he could get. Then he went through and looked at the rest of the cards that I had. He tried to run my doordash car that I used to make purchases for customers which obviously did not work. Then he tried to use my Target red card. Obviously that also did not work since it's only good for purchases at Target. It became painfully obvious that I had no other means of paying, so he told me he would send me an invoice and I could pay it that way. It was only then that he allowed me to leave. The plan was to drop off my dog the following week. I felt uneasy about the whole thing and send him an email afterwards telling him that. His response was to try to call me twice, not to leave a voicemail, and cancel my session. So I am out 50 extra dollars for the money he took off my credit card. I have no dispute for the 50 I paid for the consultation, about a refund of the other 50 would be nice since I did not move ahead with the program. I doubt I will ever see a dime of it. If you do choose this establishment. They seem like they can do a decent job with making dogs obedient looking but be advised that you will need some serious money up front and from the start of the process. They are definitely not forthcoming about the cost of the program or how much you will need to bring with you. Given that they gave me no information about these things, I frankly would have worried for my dog's safety in their care because if they can't tell me how much something costs, what else are they not saying?
