Elite Canine

Geralyn is awesome! I currently have two dogs working with her in classes. She is a straightforward instructor who has her opinions and is willing to share them. You can tell immediately how much she cares about all of the dogs she works with. She gives you the skills to take home with you. But it’s your job to do the homework with your dog. I highly recommend Elite Canine if you are looking to bond more with your dog and learn new skills.

I have used Elite Canine for all 3 of my dogs, and couldn't be happier with my results. The classes are small enough to allow for personalized attention yet there are enough dogs to allow good socialization skills to develop. I wouldn't take my dogs anywhere else for training. The classes are fun and the training exercises are straightforward. Geralyn also offers super fun classes called Around the Town where you take your dog out in real world settings like the Mast General Store, Old Salem and Lowes. So much fun! I highly recommend Elite Canine for all your training needs.

I have now trained 3 of my pets utilizing Elite Canine, and all of them have become well adjusted, happy members of my family. I love my rescue dogs, but they do sometimes come with baggage from their former lives. I also believe in the positive reinforcement method, whereby there are no choke or pinch collars, no e-collars, but praise for correct behavior. Under Geralyn's guidance, both of us learned to understand each other and build the trust needed to work as a team, a pack, a family.
