When you pay for the boarding service, is the training part of that payment or separate?
Great question - training is separate. When you board a dog at our kennel, there is no training included. We do offer customized obedience, retriever & hunting training and more. If you have a specific behavior you are wanting to address with your dog, please call.

We took our 9 1/2 month old golden retriever puppy, Finnigan, to Phil in mid May this past spring for boarding and some training. At that point we were questioning whether we wanted to keep Finn because he was so crazy and hard headed. We told ourselves if this didn’t help we would have to surrender him to someone who could deal with him better. He was basically a good boy but had some anger issues and would not listen. Phil encouraged us to get a shock collar for him to help with the training. We left Finn with Phil for about 6 weeks. When we returned after the 6 weeks Finn was a new dog! Phil demonstrated for us at the kennel, and then followed us to our home and had us work with Finn on his new commands to make sure we were comfortable with it. Finn has been getting better every day since then. We are so happy with his progress. We highly recommend Phil for training, and Eagle Fleece kennel for boarding your dog. Finn was very well taken care of!
