The Advanced Training course can start a few months after the Gun DogTraining course or after the Gun Dog course and a Hunting Season. Foundationhand signal and whistle response is taught in about 3 months. This course willenable you to guide your dog to a bird you saw fall but your dog did not usingwhistles and hand signals. We got our pup three months ago and absolutely love her. She is a beautiful, healthy, energetic pup. Sara at Dustin Labs has been such a great resource and helped us through the entire process. She is very knowledgeable and promptly answered any questions we’ve had. Bru came vaccinated with her first round of shots which was nice.
Sara allowed us to come meet our pup beforehand. She held Bru from a distance which we appreciate as she was being conscience of parvo. Her facility is clean and well managed.
Dustin offers training and boarding which we plan to take advantage of as we picked a stubborn pup. I recommend buying from Dustin.

About 15 years ago I bought shawn dustins videos to train my red lab and golden retriever. I had seen other videos but Shawn's videos reached me because of his teaching of training a dog to want to please. I believe this is why dog is man's best friend. Since then Rocco and Buddy have passed away. I did more research on shawn and his dogs and I have always wanted to get one of his dogs. FINALLY, our children have grown and we have decided that now would be a good time to get a pup. So my two sons and I drove 10 hours to get Hunter the chocolate lab. He possesses the want to please and already loves retrieving. I met with Shawn and personally getting to meet him, was genuinely the person you see on the videos. I highly recommend him for training, advice, and pups. Hunter has some great qualities and certifications that I wanted.
Great to have met him and very happy with our dog.

The folks that run this company are friendly, knowledgeable, and responsible breeders. Our first dog had been given all necessary treatments and they taught us how and when to administer her vaccines and treatments. They even chipped her onsite. She is healthy, strong, and loves to retrieve! We are very pleased with our experience and have made plans for a second puppy.
