Dustin Retrievers California

I bought a dog from Dustin's retrievers, and then on the way home the dog was bleeding from its rear end. We called them back , and they said that it was normal and probably just stress. A day later, I rushed the dog to our local veterinary office and they checked for parvo, which was negative. The dog wouldn't eat and was obviously very sick, so they kept it overnight. They ran the test, but couldn't determine what was causing it. The next day the vet released the dog with us. Same symptoms kept happening, so I brought the dog back to the vet on day four, the dog died the next day. I called back Dustin's retrievers , said that I could provide all of the veterinary records , and they didn't really want to help. They said, if we bought another dog, they would give us half price off. I do not recommend dustin's retrievers at all. We eventually bought a dog from a local dog breeder, and it was so much healthier than the dog we bought from Dustin's retrievers. If anyone wants to contact me, I can show you the vet records and phone records. We spent $3000 at the vet and $1500 for the dog. $4500 wasted. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS BREEDER!

I couldn't be happier with the care my two pups received during their recent stay! Leaving pets behind is always tough, but knowing they were in such caring, attentive, and knowledgeable hands gave me total peace of mind. The staff went above and beyond to make sure our two pups were comfortable, happy, and well looked after. They came home safe, sound, and completely content. I can't recommend this team enough and will definitely be using them again!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We cannot recommend Melissa and Shaun enough! They took such amazing care of our two dogs while we were away. Our dogs had never been around other dogs besides each other, so we were a little anxious, but Melissa and Shaun made us feel completely at ease from the very beginning. They treated our pups like family, giving them so much love, attention, and care. Shaun spent time outside playing with them, throwing toys, and making sure they were happy, active, and comfortable. It was obvious he genuinely enjoys what he does. Melissa was incredible with communication, sending us regular updates and photos that made us smile and gave us total peace of mind. The level of care, professionalism, and genuine love they showed our dogs exceeded every expectation we had. We came home to two happy, well-cared-for pups, and we couldn't be more grateful! If you're looking for someone you can truly trust with your pets, look no further. We'll definitely be using their services again and will be recommending Melissa and Shaun to everyone we know. We’ve gotten 3 dogs from Dustin’s. All three have been incredible. They were all trained with them as well and that was also an amazing experience for all 3. We’ve never had any issues or concerns with the team there over the last 10+ years that we’ve worked with them. They are accommodating, kind, helpful and care so much about our dogs. They are welcoming, always take great care of them when we board them there and our dogs literally love going there, seeing them and I’m pretty sure they think that they are so lucky to be going there on vacation. Can’t recommend this team more highly!! We would never go anywhere else and highly highly recommend them!
