I can’t thank Rachel enough for the skills she taught me and my dog Julia! When we first started, Julia was dog reactive and loved to seek attention by barking, but by the end of our 5 weeks of private lessons with Rachel, Julia is now leaning much more neutral on our walks and doesn’t attention bark nearly as much! I was shocked at how quickly Julia progressed but she also loved learning and Rachel’s teaching style! Not only has Julia become more confident and neutral but I’ve also become much more confident and don’t have that defeated feeling anymore! My dog and I had a good foundation of communication prior but it’s much stronger now too! I recommend Dunmore Barks to any owner that finds themselves in the same boat as I was!!

She took the time to understand my dog's unique needs and tailored the puppy training class to suit his personality and behavior, as well as the other dogs in the class. The sessions were informative, effective, and fun for both me and my dog. She was always available for any issues we might have ran into during the entire 4-week period. Her emails after each class that went over the skills of the lesson were excellent and appreciated! My puppy is now much more confident, well-behaved, and has built a closer relationship with me.
