FirstBarkFirst as a veteran thank you for all you do for us.. I've been in the group training since August 2017 when Libby was just 8 weeks old. Training has been incramental and on 7/12/2018 Libby passed her final test to be a good service dog. All the instructors are wonderful and compassionate.

Dunes Dog Training Club is made up of a dedicated group of dog-loving volunteers. We look to them each time we have a new dog to train. The trainers have over 50+ years of experience & they add their own personal knowledge & style to obedience classes. My dog loves attending classes and it has really helped! Because DDTC is an AKC Training club, we found out about Puppy S.T.A.R. We’ve since entered Rally obedience competitions. Dunes DTC has also exposed us to Therapy Dog opportunities where we can do volunteer visits to nursing homes and hospitals. We are forever grateful that this dog training club is a part of Northwest Indiana.
The Pets n Vets program is an exciting organization that I am proud to be a volunteer in. Training these veterans with PTSD and their dogs is a great sense of accomplishment to watch the improvements made on a weekly basis. It is truly one way of giving back for the service they gave to our country.
The DDTC Pets N Vets program is a wonderful program for our country's local heroes who suffer from PTSD. A great big thank you to all those involved who volunteer their time and the veteran's who bestow their trust in the DDTC trainers.
