I can’t believe the miracle work I have seen with my 4 month old German shepherd puppy in just a week and a half of lessons! We signed Luna up for the full program and right before she could start she jumped on my 3 year old son and bit his face (not aggressively but play biting, but it was still my kids face that will now have a scar) my husband tried to get me to get rid of her but luckily I refused because I knew we had her scheduled to start at Duffys in 2 weeks. Here we are a week and a half in and I can already let my dog off the leash and running around with my kids. She has not once tried to jump on my kids and I have 4 of them… not only that but we took her out to a dog friendly restaurant over the week end which she had only had 1 week of training and everyone was praising how well behaved she was for a GSD puppy, she didn’t once bark, she sat next to me the whole time watching me and when dogs came up to her she didn’t give them the time of day!!! I credit this all to duffys as I definitely don’t have time to train her since I have 4 kids and work a full time job!!! I know it is early in training but the fact that I have already seen so much great change definitely means they know what they are doing! Even my husband who wanted to get rid of the dog is now praising and loving her again!!! Thank you so much To Duffys because if it weren’t for you and your team of dog trainers I would not be able to have a dog like Luna!!!! I highly recommend this place!!! The staff are all amazing!!!

This place tactics are borderline abusive. Went for an evaluation and all they did was jerk the leash so hard the dogs yell out and the body is jerked around backwards or off their feet to some degree. Its also NOT ok to keep slamming a crate door in the face or to where it hits the face/nose. Talk about trauma exposure. The dogs they have wear those collars and appear always on edge And very unhappy just waiting to be zapped. A friend used them for one week and she said her dogs came back worse then before and exhibit fear behaviors now and even welped when she raised her leg to put her tennis shoes on because he thought she was going to hit or kick him or something. Just not ok!

This place is sickening. I wasn’t going to leave a review or say anything until I saw a couple is friends posts on Facebook with similar experiences. Two dogs have been injured in their care- with one of the injuries being fatal. Another dog escaped and was found miles away on the side of the interstate (they lied and told the dog owner it was found on their property). From my personal experience, my dogs leashed was yanked so hard and so high that all 4 of his legs came off the ground. I will be going to be BBB over this absurd, disturbing company now that I know I am not the only one with horrible experiences.
