We left our GSD, Lyla with Sara and Ducktown Lodge to Board and Train for 2 weeks while we were out of town for a wedding. To us, Lyla is our baby and we were so nervous to leave her for so long. Sara was AMAZING. She would send us multiple updates, pictures and videos of Lyla while she was there. It was such a relief to know she was being taken care of so well and to see her thriving and having fun while we were gone. At pickup, Sara spent plenty of one on one time with us to show us all of Lyla’s new tricks she learned at training and walked us through how to use the collar and how to interact with Lyla to ensure the training was beneficial and would continue to work in the future. We are so thankful for Ducktown Lodge and are so excited Lyla can come along with us to all of our adventures now!
Ducktown Retrievers took great care of my golden retriever for the weekend! He came back happy, healthy, and clean. Their team sent multiple photos/videos and updates on my dog. The facility is clean and small enough that every dog gets plenty of attention and care. Thank you DTR!

Sarah has been an asset to my dog Rose and me. Rose went for board and train and was trained to do everything I asked for. Sarah not only trained my dog, but as the one training once at home, she helped me be confident in leading Rose to where she needs to be. And, now we are doing advanced training and it is going really well! I can’t stress enough how awesome it is to have a dog that has hound in her, to actually listen to my commands. lol. Ducktown Lodging is where Rose stayed while I was out of town. I felt that she was safe, and well taken care of. I received text videos and pictures from Sarah and Lucinda daily. Rose will be staying at Ducktown Lodge whenever I go away.
We recently boarded our 2 dogs at Ducktown Lodge. We had a very good experience. Our dogs were well taken care of while we were gone, and they were clean when we picked them up. Lucinda was great about sending frequent updates with pictures and videos throughout the week.
