FirstBarkWe’ve now used Sara for board & train for both of our dogs and she did an amazing job! We have noticed such a huge difference in both of our dogs. Sara’s mom, Lucinda, did a wonderful job of sending pictures and videos everyday to give us updates. We will always come back to Ducktown Lodge for any boarding or training needs!

Our dog Brady loves it here! He is a “senior” and a little set in his ways. We have been so happy with the communication and care he receives. It’s like he is visiting his 2nd home. We are blessed to have found Lucinda, Sara, and crew. Boarding is 1st class! Highly recommend!!

Edit to add: After several great boarding experiences, we decided to go the extra mile and participate in the board and train with Sara. We are thrilled with the results. Walking our dog has always been a stressful experience due to her reactivity and pulling on the leash, especially when she sees a cat, squirrel, etc. She has been home with us for less than a week after her training, and today we went for a walk. She responded so well to my correction when a cat crossed our path and did not lunge or pull. I was very impressed. The board and train program comes with included follow-up classes. I attended a class with my dog this weekend, and it provided a great way for her to continue learning and reinforcing her skills. I would highly recommend Sara for training and Ducktown Lodge for boarding. We had a great experience boarding at Ducktown Lodge. We loved getting daily photos and videos and seeing our dog happily playing. The kennels are clean, and the play area is spacious. We plan to send our pup here whenever we are away from home on vacation.

We met Sara and Lucinda earlier this year when trying to find a new trainer and boarding facility for our pup Sparrow and our other two labs. We wanted someone experienced with labs and who would give them all of the love and attention they get at home. We were so happy with the training that Sparrow got after doing their board and train program! We go to their classes most weeks and Sparrow is always one of the top performers out of the group because of her training. Their boarding facility is immaculate and comfortable and we knew they were in the best hands for our three pups. They have earned a customer for life from us and we highly recommend them for their boarding and training. We couldn’t be more thrilled.
We sent our lab and lab mix to Ducktown for boarding while we were on vacation. Lucinda and Sara do such an amazing job! Our two pups are full of energy and they had the best time at Ducktown for the week. We do not trust just anyone to care for our dogs and highly recommend Ducktown’s services!
