Dream Dogs Training

Nikki did an amazing job with Penny. I was completely overwhelmed training her in the midst of our very busy home of four kids and two working parents. Having Penny attend the structured training and then learning the skills to continue at home each weekend was so valuable. We even had a home training session and Nikki was so patient answering all my kids questions. Prior to training we couldn’t walk her because she pulled so hard, she was accidentally hurting my kids by pulling them down the stairs, she ran away from us and would nip at me when I tried to crate her, and she was constantly eating our socks and shoes and would try to run out the front door every time it opened. Now she will stay when I leave the front door open for 5 min to bring in groceries. She sits and waits to be invited out and we can actually take walks without her tugging. She still isn’t a fan of her crate because she’d prefer to be with her people but she goes in without fighting. I cannot recommend this program enough it was vital to getting Penny settled in our home and she is a much happier dog now!

We are very glad we discovered Nikki with Dream Dogs Training through our vet's office. She has done so well teaching our puppy and has helped him progress so much in his training. We have used the puppy primer drop off training, the puppy momentum class, and had a couple of in-home training sessions. Both puppy primer and puppy momentum took place at the vet's office, which was helped our puppy become comfortable going to the vet's. The puppy primer class was great; it helped with the basics (via 1:1 instruction), gave opportunity for safe socialization, and allowed us respite at home. The puppy momentum class provided informative step-by-step guides and videos. The class setting (with other puppies and people present during instruction) was useful to work on training with distractions - even though our puppy was the largest distraction in the class. The class was also effective via zoom when it was needed, and Nikki did a good job explaining topics and using her dog, Disney, to demonstrate the skills over video. Nikki is always happy to answer any of our questions and has taught so much to our puppy Brewer! Brewer loves going to the vet's office and we have a feeling that it's because of all of the positive experiences he has had in puppy class.
