I can’t say enough good things about Dream Dogs Texas. David and Joyce did an incredible job with Mari Lynn. From the very beginning, they treated her like she was one of their own. They were patient, loving, and took the time to understand her while helping her learn healthier ways to express herself. The difference in Mari Lynn has been amazing. She is so much calmer, listens so much better, and honestly seems happier. Throughout her training, they kept us updated, answered every question we had, and gave us complete peace of mind. I never once worried about her because I knew she was being loved and cared for. One of the moments that meant the most to me happened when we returned for our follow-up training. As soon as we pulled up to their house, Mari Lynn couldn’t wait to get out of the car. The moment David walked outside to greet her, she became so excited to see him. She has never reacted that way anywhere else, and it spoke volumes about the bond they built with her and how much she trusted them. Our home is so much more peaceful now, and we feel like we understand Mari Lynn so much better. I did a lot of extensive research before deciding on Dream Dogs to train my two dachshunds and let me tell you it was the best decision ever and we will continue to bring them there for boarding purposes. Rocket, our five year-old dachshund, Is a relatively good dog, but he definitely is a lot more stubborn and we really wanted to make sure he sets a good example for Violet our most recent addition to the family. Violet is our six month old dachshund and we really wanted her to have a good foundation and for the both of them to learn to walk on the leash properly have good manners and just overall listen to our commands. We did the three week program and they sent us constant updates and videos and pictures of their training progressions and they even brought them to Walmart, Lowe’s, Cabelas, etc. to really integrate their training in public settings. When we picked them up, it was like a world of a difference and you can just tell the confidence that our dogs gained while being in training. They also provided us with take-home resources and a detailed overview of their entire training program for Violet and rocket. They were very professional and I really loved how they operated from their own home and not some huge facility with hundreds of other dogs. I really felt comfortable throughout the entire process.
