About Drake Gun Dogs
Drake Gun Dogs is a professional retriever training, all-breed obedience, and structured dog boarding facility in Boaz, Alabama. We work with Boykin Spaniels, Labrador Retrievers, and other hunting and family dogs through puppy development, basic gun dog training, advanced retriever work, tune-ups, and practical obedience. Dogs are cared for in clean indoor kennels with multiple daily airings, controlled routines, and direct communication. Training uses 60 acres directly behind the kennel plus access to hundreds of additional nearby acres, fields, ponds, and varied training ground. Visits, evaluations, drop-offs, and pickups are handled by appointment.

If you are looking for a place for training for your pup, look no further than. This is definitely the place!!! Our chocolate lab went in at 5 months old hyper, full of energy and not understanding anything. We got her back today and wow what a difference. She sits, places, walks by your side on a leash calmly waits for her food until you tell her to get it and gets on her kennel on command!!! Drake is great with the animals and the facility is always clean!
We used Drake Gun Dogs to board our cavapoo over the weekend. It was a great experience. Convenient drop off and pick up and the set up was really good. Buddy seemed to have a great time. Thank you Drake!

I recommend this facility for your dogs ! It was clean, warm, and spacious! They took good care of my dogs ! I've never left them before, but I knew they were in good hands ! Will be using this facility again !!
