About Dove Landing Training LLC
Dove Landing Training is owned and operated by Alecia Williams, Certified Dog Trainer. Alecia has over 25 years of experience caring for and working with animals of all species. In 2019 ,she won the Pamlico County Chamber of Commerce Volunteer of the Year award for her work with the New Leash on Life program at Pamlico Correctional Institution. The program has rescued, trained, and adopted close to 300 dogs since it's inception in 2012. Training is done in a compassionate and ethical manner with the use of positive reinforcement. Dogs learn by association so positive methods reinforce what cues are being taught to each dog . Training programs are tailored for each individual dog to provide management and harmony within the household.

The owner is incredibly good with dogs (ours get excited when we tell them we are going to visit). The kennel itself is spotless, roomy and comfortably air-conditioned, with individual beds and runs for the dogs, and a large fenced play area.
