Don was a significant help and guiding light to my husband and I with our Australian Cattle Dog, Poppy. Don provided us with daycare services for Poppy while we were working, picking her up from our home three days a week to provide her with a wide variety of stimulating activities with a pack of pals. Don also provided boarding services for Poppy, picking her up from our home when needed, making sure she was cared for and engaged throughout the day, and even visiting our home with her while we were gone so she could get some one on one time. Most importantly, Don helped us develop a deeper sense of trust with Poppy, providing key insight on both the behaviors of Poppy and ourselves. We were very sad to move away from Don this past year and hope that we can reunite in the near future. We highly recommend Don's services and will always be grateful for everything he did for us and for Poppy!

Don has been our dog sitter for the past 5 years, and he is by far the best dog sitter we have ever encountered. His understanding of each individual dog, their needs, their emotions, reactions, and his innate ability to communicate with and train them is truly incredible. I often refer to him as a dog whisperer. There have been numerous times when I asked if he was able to watch my dogs last minute, expecting that he would not be able to on such short notice, but he was available and worked to accommodate my schedule. He takes the dogs to parks, trails, around the city, paddle boarding, and other local places to work on socialization and to get them comfortable in new environments. He sends the sweetest pictures and videos with detailed updates, which I always look forward to. I love seeing which dogs that my dogs get to play with at his daycare each time they go. He has experience with almost every dog breed, age, dogs with health issues, dogs who have not been properly socialized, dogs with a history of aggression and reactions, and his ability to understand each dog and train them is exceptional. He goes above and beyond for his dogs every day. I am truly lucky to have found such a great dog sitter and trainer, who is friendly, trustworthy responsible, hardworking, easy to communicate with, and reliable. I highly recommend Don’s Pals and can’t thank him enough for all of the love and care he has given my dogs over the years. He is their favorite person!!

We are so lucky to have found Don and I can’t recommend him enough. My ACD-mix, Korra, struggles with fear and reactivity. I never thought I’d be able to find a daycare situation for her that would actually benefit her. With Don, Korra is challenged to overcome her fears and learn how to coexist with other dogs in a structured setting. She has also gotten to go on many fun adventures like hikes and paddle boarding. In addition to the amazing care that he provides his dogs, Don has also given me so much dog training advice and encouragement. I’ve noticed a significant change in how Korra approaches unfamiliar environments with new dogs and people, something I used to think she’d always struggle with. I’m so happy Korra has someone like Don who is genuinely invested in her being the best dog she can be!

My dog Lulu loves going to Don’s daycare! We have been going weekly for a few years now. I made the mistake of taking her to a normal, not structured daycare, which resulted in Lulu being a reactive dog that caused our walks to be stressful. Since going to Don’s daycare that is structured, walks with Lulu have been more enjoyable. His daycare is enriching and I know she loves it because when I watch videos on her day, as soon as she hears Don’s voice, she is looking for him! We have also used him for boarding and Lulu has a few medications that has to be taken at certain times and he was able to provide the care without any issues. I also loved the fact that she was not in a cage by herself throughout the night and had more of a sleepover at her favorite pal’s house. 100/10 would recommend Don. My relationship with Lulu has changed for the better and I’m always forever grateful for him!
