Domino Service Dogs (DSD) is a Lakewood, Colorado-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to breaking down the prohibitive financial, physical, and systemic barriers to service dog ownership. Operating under a "by us, for us" disability-led model, DSD empowers individuals with disabilities to train their own service dogs through a structured 2-year owner-trainer program. By utilizing 100% force-free, evidence-based, reward-based techniques, such as clicker training, DSD eliminates traditional $35,000–$45,000 agency costs and multi-year waitlists while building independence, community, and public access rights

I have struggled with mental illness for a long time now and it was not until i found domino that finally found hope. They find the right dog for you and help you train them to your own specific needs, whether it is mental or physical. Since i got my gorgeous golden retriever i have seen improvements in my mood and overall ability to take on more challenges so i can live my better life. It’s more then just dog training though, it’s a community where i have made true friends and connections.

This organization changed our lives. We got our wonderful dog from them and we are now about a year into the training program. The trainers are excellent. We have weekly outings where we practice being in public with our pup. Any behavior problem our dog has the trainers have a gentle positive training strategy to correct it. We love this place.
