Dokken's Oak Ridge Kennels

My family went through the whole process of buying a lab from Dokken's and sending him to 16 weeks of obedience & shed training. When we arrived the dog would not pick up a single shed. Not one. After the dog was part of our family for more than a year, Tom's only answer was to take the dog back rather than refund the cost of shed training. Any dog loving family knows a dog is measured by more than if he will pick up a shed. However, Tom's training was measured by if the dog would pick up a shed. Very poor service all around. Could not be more disappointed. After multiple attempts by myself to get a remedy to the situation, I've notified Tom I will be letting everyone know online and at my hunting clubs. If you want to have a superior hunting dog that is also extremely well trained, go to Dokken's. Our year old British lab has been through the Intro to Birds class and also the obedience training. This training has made him into a fantastic dog. We just dropped him off today for two more weeks of water training. We've worked with Hunter, one of the trainers, and couldn't be happier. I'd highly recommend Dokken's!
