FirstBarkKathy is an amazing person and a very knowledgeable trainer! She is extremely passionate about what she does and it shows. She thrives to see all of her students succeed. Hunter (my lab) and I attend her Scent Work classes every Sunday. She has helped us grow together as a team. Her classes are a lot of fun and we look forward to them every week! 😊

It was a pleasure working with Kathy to boost the confidence of my cautious dog Charlie. He was a puppy mill rescue and is very hand-shy around most people. While I initially reached out to Kathy to inquire about her "Sampler" course, she made a thoughtful recommendation (after a meet and greet) to take the "Cautious to Confident" course instead. Working with Kathy not only increased Charlie's confidence but also helped boost my own competence and knowledge as Charlie's person. The activities we did in class were easy to follow, fun and engaging. It has been incredibly rewarding to see Charlie build confidence each time he faces new people, environment and things. We owe a big thanks to Kathy for helping Charlie build confidence in a gradual and positive way. I highly recommend working with Kathy because she's thoughtful, purpose-driven to improve the bond between you and your dog, and extremely patient and wonderful to work with!
