Finding a great agility instructor can be a challenge, and I was nervous when I first moved to Florida, but I'm so happy I found Dogstar! Bridget was super nice and patient, and I'm so happy with the challenging, but achievable courses and skill work she sets up. I've always felt stronger in my teamwork with my dog after a session with her! If it's too much, we go into "training mode" and she will help break down the training and skills needed so eventually you can conquer course challenges, not just survive them! She covers all levels from entry/foundation to top level international so I was super impressed with her knowledge and experience. No doubt my dog and I have leveled up our skills since training here!

Looking for a great agility instructor,,,,,, here she is! An experienced agility competitor at the highest level , Bridget’s accomplishments are impressive and ongoing. Bridget believes in order to develop an excellent agility dog, a strong foundation is a must and she teaches to that end. She is experienced in training many different dog breeds and personality types. Likewise, she is flexible in her teaching methods, choosing what works best for each particular dog and handler. Did I mention what a pleasure it is to train at Dog Star Farm? A truly beautiful site, under the shade of mature live oak trees. We are so lucky that Bridget has moved to our North Central Florida area.

Each and every Group Class, Workshop or Private lesson that my young Sheltie Hopper and I have attended at Bridget’s Dog Star Farm has not only helped us begin to really come together as a Team but makes the process FUN! Bridget’s vast experience and knowledge of MANY types of dogs as well as handlers from Novice thru International makes her a versatile and great asset to agility teams no matter what the level or type of dog you have. And this would not be complete without mentioning that the “senior agility faction” here in Florida is eternally and forever grateful for her understanding and patience!! Bridget’s facility in Alachua has a beautiful, relaxing, peaceful atmosphere where you can view birds overhead and horses grazing nearby.

I have been training with Bridget for about a year. She is an excellent instructor. She is really focused on foundation work for beginning dogs and has given my novice dog an excellent start to agility. She is very patient and customizes her classes and training approaches for each individual dog and handler. Whether you are interested in doing agility for fun or competitively, she has a class to meet your needs. Her facility at DogStar in Alachua is awesome. Finally, she is a really generous, kind person! I highly recommend Bridget for any level of agility training.
