Our 2 dogs had a freak accident involving an electric collar malfunction causing one to attack the other. We were heartbroken as our babies couldn’t even be in the same room. Jenny came into our home and worked with our dogs week after week for months until finally, today, we have 2 dogs who love each other and snuggle on the couch together again. This would not have been possible without the patience and expertise of Jenny. We are forever grateful and could not recommend her and Dogsmartz Unleashed more.

I want to counter a post that was made here by another user, not to downplay their feelings or anything, but to offer a different perspective on a similar situation. I too had high hopes for obedience training and took my dog to day one. We didn’t even make it into the room. We were asked to move to a different room, then asked to leave. At first, I was crushed. At that point, I read a very similar review on here and panicked that I wouldn’t get a call back, but in a few days I did get a call. I was treated with respect and kindness. I can’t speak to why the other person did not get a call. I can just say what happened to me in hopes of helping someone else looking through these reviews. I had to stop and think of a few things. 1. Everyone else in that class paid to bring their dogs there and get good quality training. 2. If my dog will prevent that, it’s not fair to everyone else. 3. I am paying them because they understand dogs WAY better than I do. What I see as a sweet dog with puppy emotions, they can assess what is really going on and what she needs to be the best, most secure, happy puppy she can be. So, even though I left that day embarrassed and stressed, I now see that they put her into the class she needs to be in. Again, they called me after a few days and we arranged a meeting to evaluate my dog. Everyone there has been wonderful to us. They know their stuff. I lost no money (and we had already attended the human only session) and they carried over what I paid for the new class. I see my dog in a new way and I’m beginning to understand her better. We haven’t been to the class with our dog yet, but we did have the first session with the humans. A few things we discussed have already helped me as the parent. I’m extremely hopeful.

We started puppy obedience with our 13 week Rottie mix, knowing he will be a big boy, we definitely need him to be trained, respectful, and listen. We will continue with more classes too. Jenny and her crew have been wonderful! They are attentive, reassuring, and helpful. We have successfully learned basic commands, and he really enjoys the classes and socializing. He can now relax, focus on me, has manners out in public, and he has the skills to handle a busy vet clinic when needed too. Highly recommend!!
