I truly cannot say enough wonderful things about Shannon and Dogs of Anarchy K9 Sport & Fitness. We came to Shannon with our three Labs simply wanting to get them involved in some sports, build their fitness, and give them something fun to do. From the very beginning, I was incredibly impressed by how thoughtful and scientific Shannon was in her approach. Her priority was never just getting the dogs to perform—she wanted to make sure they were physically ready, safe, confident, and genuinely having fun. We started with the basics: getting them motivated to enter the water, teaching them how to swim properly, and most importantly, helping them actually enjoy swimming. Shannon quickly recognized that all three dogs were different and tailored her training to each individual dog rather than taking a one-size-fits-all approach. As we progressed into dock diving and other sports, our kids wanted to get involved as junior handlers, and Shannon has been nothing but supportive. She is encouraging, patient, kind, and an absolutely phenomenal coach—not only with the dogs, but with our children as well. Watching our kids and dogs learn together and become a team has made the entire experience even more special. Shannon is also an absolute wealth of knowledge. Whether it’s conditioning, diet, supplements, equipment, or the right gear to use, she has been an incredible resource and someone whose knowledge and experience we genuinely value. The facility itself deserves its own recognition as well. The dock and pool are absolutely incredible. Everything is exceptionally clean, beautifully maintained, and clearly designed by someone who understands the sport and what dogs and handlers need. The dock has everything you could possibly want for both training and competing, and you can tell how much thought and care goes into maintaining the entire facility. And the icing on the cake is the environment Shannon has created at Dogs of Anarchy. If you are interested in competing, the organization and professionalism of the events held there are second to none, while still being incredibly welcoming and supportive. It is exactly the kind of environment you want your dogs—and your kids—to learn and compete in. We are so excited to continue this journey with our Labs and our kids, and we feel incredibly fortunate to have Shannon as our coach. We could not be happier with our experience or more grateful for everything Shannon and Dogs of Anarchy have done for our family. I truly could not recommend them enough.
