I was initially skeptical that learning commands for our puppy Bella would really solve her issues with jumping on people, overexcitement, nipping and excessive barking. But I decided to trust the process, and I'm so glad I did! Each week, Rebecca introduced us to new commands and patiently trained both Bella and me. Within just a few weeks, Bella was walking nicely on a leash, sitting and staying on command. When we moved to off-leash training, she made even more progress. I was amazed by how calm and well-behaved she was during our final two sessions- which were held in busy retail stores! Thanks to Rebecca's training, Bella has become pretty much the perfect dog. I can't recommend Rebecca and Dogs by Andy highly enough. Lauren was also amazing throughout the many weeks of training.

We love this place! We went on a family vacation recently for over a week, which is stressful enough but before we could even round the corner to get there, our dog buddy was so excited and we could barely keep him in the car! Not only did they take care of our Buddy he also got a refresher on his training to help to help make sure at least one person in the house listens lol!!! I can never say enough about all of the team here, They are amazing!!!

Andy trained my very first dog back in 2001 when I was just a kid growing up on Long Island. I was only six years old, but I still remember how much of an impact that experience made. Years later, in 2016, as an adult, I found Dogs By Andy again this time in Mooresville, North Carolina. Even though I was still living on Long Island, I didn’t hesitate to bring my German Shepherd down to him. After just three weeks of training, the difference was like night and day. My dog came back fully confident, calm, and obedient in public. He became a trusted companion for my son as well, listening to him just as well as he listened to me. Fast forward to 2025, and I’m now on my third dog being trained by Dogs By Andy. This time, it’s even more personal my daughter’s Goldendoodle, Lola, is being trained as a service dog. I live in Virginia Beach, about five hours away, yet I wouldn’t trust anyone else with such an important responsibility. We left Lola with Andy’s team for three weeks in February 2025, and from the start, Rebecca has been phenomenal. She has worked with Lola directly, guiding her through every step of her service dog training, and the progress has been nothing short of incredible. Since then, we’ve made multiple follow-up trips, each requiring a ten-hour round trip, and every single time has been worth it. Now that Lola is advancing into elite-level service dog training, we’re traveling weekly to North Carolina for her sessions with Rebecca. Watching how quickly Lola has learned and how confidently she works alongside me and my daughter has been nothing short of life-changing. Dogs By Andy isn’t just a training facility it’s a place that delivers trust, reliability, and results that last a lifetime. Andy trained my first dog when I was a child, he trained a trusted dog for my son, and now, with Rebecca’s dedicated work, she is training a service dog for my daughter. That’s three generations of our family who have benefitted from their expertise. I truly wouldn’t go anywhere else.
