Paid for the 10-week training program for a leash-reactive Australian/Blue heeler mix and we are glad we did. Dewayne helped us get the pup to walk on leash without pulling and at the heel position. He trained us to expect more and he trained the pup basic commands, such as to stay at a distance while off leash with distractions. Dewayne continued to support us with follow-up phone calls and sessions to clarify concepts. He also met with us after the ten weeks was complete in order to practice weaker areas in a safe environment and with additional distractions. We put in many hours of homework to instill concepts in the pup that don’t come naturally, but it was well worth it. I highly recommend this service and trainer in order to overcome obedience challenges with your dog.

Dogs by Andy what can i say they are a life saver!!! Best trainers I’ve ever had the pleasure of working with. Dewayne took my 5month old golden retriever and had a wild puppy into a well behaved gentleman in three weeks!! I can go anywhere and everywhere with my puppy off leash and never have a problem or a worry. We have tried parks baseball games Lowe’s academy sports quite pint bar even sweet frogs for Yogurt and never once have we worried if he would behave or act correctly. If you have any doubts or need a great dog trainer look no further because this is the spot!!! They are friendly personable and truly care about your dog and you. They stand behind amazing lessons both for the puppy and the human!!! I will never own another dog that isn’t trained By Dewayne and dogs by Andy!!

We had an out of control 9 month old puppy. Dogs by Andy provides a 1 hour free evaluation at Lucky's Pet Resort in Greensboro. We met with Dewayne who immediately gave me insight to things my pup was "saying" through her behavior. Dewayne was professional & personal. He was focused on our pup and demonstrated with another pup the type of training she would get. We decided to take the plunge and enroll her in the 3 week boarding training. At the end of 3 weeks we went through almost 3 hours of training so we could continue the training at home. Dewayne also provided his personal phone number and email and I have been able to message him with quick questions. Dogs by Andy also provides lifetime "ongoing" training.....that is almost priceless to me. Our dog remains her funny, quirky self with great manners. We continue to implement the commands we were taught to keep this sweet Pup a sweet pup and not an out of control pup. Training doesn't stop when you leave. I endorse Dogs by Andy & Dewayne. About a year ago my doctor recommended that I should look into getting a service animal to help me. Being a animal lover I knew I wanted to adopt a dog and build a strong connect by going through K9 training together. I found Dogs by Andy on Google and immediately started working with Dewayne and let me tell you he is an amazing dog trainer!! He makes you feel like part of the family and is always available to text/ call when I need some extra pointers when doing homework. Our 10 week training session is almost over and my dog Duke is a rockstar and always gets compliments everywhere we go. I am so thankful for Dewayne and helping me get Duke to where he is at and now is a fully trained and certified service animal.
