Dogru Dog Training

Our family used Kaitlyn as our trainer for our Chocolate Lab. She worked with our son and dog to become a Service Dog Team. We worked with Kaitlyn for 2 years. Over those two years Kaitlyn was a place of resource, learning, and a safe place for our family to talk about our needs. She addressed all our needs, thought outside the box, and was inclusive and responsive to our unique needs. The sessions are informative and she gives a lot of practice and direction each session. We left our Tucker with Kaitlyn several times for a week to learn specific skills, we feel he is safest with her when we are away. We can not recommend Kaitlyn enough. She has helped our son be completely independent at school and in his community for the first time ever. This could not have been done without Kaitlyn.

Kaitlyn is an amazing trainer! She trained my first service dog, Murphy, in 2014, and then his successor, Jenny, in 2022. She is patient, thoughtful and creative in her problem solving, and truly understands how the dog’s mind works. She teaches skills using only positive reinforcement, and clearly communicates her methods and reasoning so that we may continue practicing at home. She is a joy to work with, and worth every penny of her fee. Highly recommend!!!

We sought out Kaitlyn four years ago to train our puppy to be a medical alert dog for my son who has an epileptic condition when he sleeps. Harley went to stay for a month at her home and came back a well behaved and level 1 & 2 trained dog. When we moved to California, I wanted to keep training with Kaitlyn; she was really helpful allowing us to continue our training online. She also tested Harley out of phase 4 disability and airport skills while she was on a family trip to CA. Highly recommended trainer who goes above and beyond.
