After trying positive reinforcement training only I was frustrated and feeling lost training my Corgi. After researching how I could best help our relationship, his behavior, and reactivity I decided balanced training was right for us. Mark was a fantastic trainer and my Corgi took straight to him. The daily videos and messages really helped me cope with the fact that I was leaving my baby for a week! After picking him up with a complete tour of the E-Collar and our new walking technique I was confident taking him on walks and introducing him to my friends. He is much calmer, less reactive, and more confident. His walking went from stoping and pulling every time to an off the leash champ passing cars, bikes, bugs, and birds. Training has become fun again and I can’t wait to see where the rest of our journey takes us!

Mark is the best. I sent my 7 month old GSP away and she returned a different dog. Before she would chase anything that moved and was uncontrollable in the house at times. She returned with a whole new set of skills. She’s now able to walk to heel, recall, and is much calmer in the house. If you need help Mark is the man.

Mark was easy to talk to and he addressed our problems. My dogs went right to him and I felt very safe leaving our pets with him ( I’m the mom that doesn’t let her kids stay the night for reference)
They came back to us better then I could imagine. The follow through is in the home so We are doing our part to be sure the training lasts a lifetime. We did have the opportunity to train with Mark and the puppies before they went home. Which is such a great tool.
Very happy with The service. Will recommend anyone I know with pups.

I adopted a female adult husky mix from the humane society in slo about four months ago. She had a lot of issues because she’d spent her whole life on the street, like leash aggression and running away and general fearfulness. I worked really hard with her to gain confidence and we did positive reinforcement training classes together. Needless to say that wasn’t what my dog needed, and those trainers even said she was an aggressive dog and needed to take classes for that. I knew she wasn’t aggressive and my heart was breaking because I knew she wasn’t getting what she needed and I felt like I wasn’t a good mom for her. I decided to get her an e collar before giving up hope and then I found Mark. I had a feeling this would work for my dog and it did. She is not an aggressive dog, and Mark saw that and sent me videos of her with lots of dog friends, even sleeping with a puppy, while she was with him. Her first day back and we hiked five miles off leash passing other dogs and birds with no problems. She stays and comes when called, which she was supposed to learn in her past classes but didn’t because she’s smart enough to choose when she wants to listen. The e collar is an amazing way to communicate with your dog and I’m glad I found someone as good as Mark to help my dog understand it. I’m so proud of my ex street dog and I can’t thank Mark enough for his help! My dog is way happier and so am I.
