DOGMAN Training

My husband and I adopted a rescue puppy that grew quickly into a 95 pound dog. We had taken Cooper to a training center but that was not very successful. Our neighbor recommended William with Dogman Training - someone who would use gentle training methods and train in our home/neighborhood. The goal was to have a dog with great neighborhood manners that could also travel around with us. William helped us understand Cooper - why he acts the way he does and how we should respond to our beloved dog. I think he probably trained us more than Cooper. Working weekly over a period of time - the results were wonderful! We now have a dog that is well mannered in the neighborhood, at restaurants, parks, walking trails, etc. And, Cooper LOVES William! I highly recommend Dogman Training - gentle techniques, patience with us and Cooper, great results!

We have a rescue dog who definitely has some anxiety and other behavioral issues that we have to manage carefully. William has been extremely patient working with Archie and really seems to understand him. Archie loves going over to William’s for daycare (a Godsend while I am working from home), and we never worry about Archie when we board him at William’s because we know he is going to be safe, first and foremost, and extremely happy and well-loved while we are away.

We called William to help get control of our rescued stray turned new house companion, Hooch - an 86lb pitbull/mastiff mix. While we had taught Hooch the basics, we needed help with manners and deeper training, and techniques to get Hooch to listen and respond. Within the first two sessions, Hooch bonded well to William and really was a better behaved, calmer, dog and by the end of our time, I had the tools to continue working Hooch myself. We really appreciated the effort and time taken to help Hooch and his human family!

William helped us with our rescue Bagwell who was exhibiting anxiety and was very difficult to walk on a leash. Now, Bagwell is a changed dog. Walks with him are more enjoyable and he is less reactive to other dogs. William taught us basic commands and how to manage Bagwell so he behaves outside as well as he does inside. We highly recommend William because he is patient, positive, and our dog loves him. As first time dog owners, we now feel more confident and comfortable because of William’s training.
