Doglingual Canine Training

Doglingual is the absolute best! Our dog is amazing but has always been reactive to other dogs and it made bringing him places challenging. I reached out to Tamara having heard great things and from the beginning it was the best experience. She answered all my questions and while our dog was at board train we were able to see through social media what he was up to that day and all the things he was learning. When it was time for him to come home she spent a very good amount of time with my husband and myself “training us” lol. We were so grateful because we then could feel confident on what to do and how to continue building on the foundation that Tamara had laid. Now we can take our pup on all the adventures we want without having the stress and anxiety because he is not being a little monster menace in public any longer:)

We cannot recommend Tamara highly enough. Before working with her, we were seriously discussing rehoming our 2-year-old mixed breed dog, Bodie. We loved him, but his behavior had become overwhelming. Walks were miserable—he constantly pulled to sniff everything, and if he saw another dog, he would lunge, bark ferociously, and completely lose all focus on us. He had endless energy, destroyed an entire couch, and couldn’t be left alone for even a couple of minutes without getting into something. He also loved grabbing the kids’ toys or anything he wasn’t supposed to have just to get our attention. The only easy thing about him was how wonderful he was with our young children. At that point, Bodie had honestly become the biggest source of stress in our home and was even causing tension in our marriage. After Tamara’s 4-week board and train program, he came home a completely different dog. We can now walk him with our kids—even past other dogs. He is boundary trained in our yard and has never once attempted to run into the driveway or escape, which means he can finally enjoy running freely and safely. He rides calmly in the car, and when someone comes to the door, instead of barking wildly, we simply tell him “place,” and he’ll lie down and stay there until released. The transformation has been nothing short of incredible. Bodie went from being the hardest part of our daily life to one of our greatest joys. We can finally include him on family adventures, whether we’re walking around the city or hiking in nature. We truly feel like we have the family dog we always dreamed of. Tamara’s knowledge, skill, and ability to understand dogs are remarkable. This has been one of the best investments we’ve ever made for our family, and we’re endlessly grateful for everything she’s done for us and for Bodie. If you’re on the fence, don’t hesitate—you won’t regret it.

Well worth the results I got. I have a Cane Corso mix that I was just not prepared for. Tamara took this rowdy menace of a puppy and gave me the dog of my dreams. There's clear communication and she got him used to the ecollar to give him off leash skills. I was so nervous about sending my dog to a board and train from horror stories I had heard but I immediately felt comfortable after the consultation and I can not recommend Doglingual enough!

Choosing Tamara and Doglingual was the absolute best investment we could have made for both our puppy and our family. We own a 9 month old Silver Lab with immense energy. Before starting her training, her behavior was highly chaotic and difficult to manage. However, after completing a four-week board-and-train program with Tamara, the transformation was remarkable.She returned home as a calm, well-behaved, and attentive companion. Thanks to this training, we can now confidently take her to public venues like markets and breweries, allowing us to truly enjoy our time together. She has an incredible gift for understanding dogs, and an endless amount of patience; not just with them, but with us humans too.
