Doggieology 101

Today Carla came to my home and met my rescue dog, Wrigley, a 17 month old Great Pyrenees mix breed. She connected with him immediately. Over the next three hours I learned how to rewrite my contract with Wrigley so he would have a better understanding of who I was in our pack. I am fortunate that I was blessed with a pretty chill dog that will compliment Carla’s approach to training - everyone just stay calm. The effects were amazing and Wrigley figured it out very quickly. I can’t say enough about how pleased I was with this first encounter and am looking forward to many more training sessions at Doggieology 101 to build upon and reinforce what we learned today. Thank you, Carla for your patience and answering my many questions.

Carla and her team at Doggiology are fantastic! We took our 7 year old dog, Ace (never too late for training) for 2 week training and boarding and the results were great! We also did a few at home follow up appointments to help with the behaviors at home. I love that they share lots of videos of the training with us so we can learn the commands and see the progress. They also include training with the dog and owners one at their location and one at home as part of their program. Highly recommend. Ace now is now able to walk nicely, not jump on people or take items and chew them, comes when his name is called and is crate trained.

I adopted a young, nervous dog from a rescue about six months ago. Within the first month I was referred to Carla and her team to help him transition into a new home and build confidence. They've been crucial in helping him recover from a bad start in life and he's blossomed into a curious, playful boy. Within the first four hour home session he went from pulling on the leash to walking comfortably in the heel position. He's made friends at daycare and learned valuable socialization skills. He's still learning and growing, but I know his current progress was only achievable because of the skill and professionalism of Carla and her team. Now every time a new dog enters the neighborhood I make sure to give out her card. The work they're doing not only helps the animals, but their people too.
